8:00 AM - BLG Staff (Team) gathers at Raul Castro Park

1:00 PM - 6:30 PM - Number & packet pick up at Raul Castro Park

6:30 PM - Raul Castro Park rider's meeting (mandatory attendance) - critical course updates and last-minute event announcements - Rider Etiquette. 

6:15 AM - International Parade Lap - Meet at the Port of Entry.

6:30 - 7:30 AM - Late number pick up - Raul Castro Park stage area - swag bags w/ limited availability

7:35 AM - National Anthems - Mexico and USA - P/B Mexican Consulate Douglas

7:45 AM - Final EVENT Announcements - All 3 Course updates - rider etiquette is critical - show respect for your fellow participant.

8:00 AM - Long Course Start - 9th Street and D Avenue

8:15 AM - Medium Course Start - 9th Street & D Avenue

8:30 AM - Short Course Start - 9th Street and D Avenue

10:00 AM - BLG Mercado 'p/b' AZ Border Alliance opens - RCP Main Plaza Area (Open until 5 PM)

10:00 AM - Local food trucks open for business - Raul Castro Park

12:15 PM - Awards ceremonies kick off - podium presentations - exact timing is a “work in progress” (Short / Medium / Long / Overall /Strava / AZ Gravel Championship)

1:00 PM - Tirrito Farm will be serving their “adult beverages” - beer and wine

4:00 PM - Timing for all three courses is CLOSED - finish arch down 

4:00 PM - BorderLands Gravel 2026 "Celebration" on the stage at Raul Castro Park - P/B Mexican Consulate Douglas

4:30 PM - Final sweep of the GTR is managed by Eric Vigil (on-course support coordinator)

7:00 PM - BLG / AZ Gravel 1 Day Championship comes to a close - THANKS to ALL.

8:30 AM - Final course sweep - trash, course marking tape & other items. Raul Castro Park

4:30 PM - Say Adios to Douglas, AZ - THANK YOU
