BorderLands Gravel Joins the Arizona Gravel Series

Something big is happening in Arizona.

This year, BorderLands Gravel is proud to be part of the new Arizona Gravel Series, a four-race series that crisscrosses the state, connecting the dots between remote gravel roads and historic towns.

Each race is its own adventure. Together, they tell a story of what gravel in Arizona really is: rugged, scenic, tough, and unforgettable.

Here’s the full lineup:

  • Pinewood Showdown - Sept. 13 – Pinewood, AZ

  • Chino Grinder – Oct. 18 - Prescott, AZ

  • Village Gravel – Oct. 25 - Flagstaff, AZ

  • BorderLands Gravel – Nov. 15 - Douglas, AZ

To be part of the Arizona Gravel Series, all you have to do is register for and race in three out of the four events. That’s it. Earn points at every race based on your finish within your distance and age group. The more you ride, the more you earn.

And where does it all lead?

The series champions will be crowned at BorderLands Gravel in Douglas. That’s right ... our race is the grand finale.

How It Works:

  • Categories for female and male riders

  • Race options: short, medium, or long course

  • Age groups: 16–29, 30–44, 45–54, and 55+

  • Stick with the same category throughout the series

  • Points add up after every race and accumulate toward the final standings

This is your chance to take on some of the best gravel in the Southwest, and maybe take home a jersey while you’re at it.

So rally your crew and let’s make this a first season worth telling.
