BorderLands Gravel Race Week Updates: SEAL-IT Recharge Station, A Strava Challenge, Gadsden Rooms, and Mumu Store

It is race week in Douglas. Here are four quick updates to help you get dialed for Saturday.

1) SEAL-IT recharge station at Art Car World

BorderLands Gravel is launching the inaugural SEAL-IT recharge station at Art Car World in Douglas. Top off your sealant and bring a vessel or old water bottle to fill up to 16 ounces of SEAL-IT. We will have community valve core tools on hand. SEAL-IT is formulated and produced in Arizona.

2) Race day timed Strava segments

Race day is this Saturday. As a fun add-on feature, there will be two timed Strava segments for prizes. Turn on your head unit and let Strava do the calculations. Local Douglas business Tilted Luck will be giving out swag to the winners for each segment (both men’s and women’s categories). This will only work for riders who use Strava and upload their ride in time for their overall race (long, medium, or short course). It is a race within the race.

3) Rooms available at the Gadsden Hotel

Still looking for a room? The Gadsden let us know they currently have 6 open rooms. Their cafe and restaurant will open at 7 a.m. on Friday and Saturday for breakfast and coffee. Contact the Gadsden Hotel directly to book.

4) The Mumu store is open again
